I doubt anyone would buy GM foods in Japan even if they were legal. Look at the paranoia over Chinese imports.

On the contrary, I'm quite sure they are already here en masse. A lot of rice is GM rice.

The list is public and doesn't include rice.

My bad. I thought I read it in Metropolis, and I just went to dig it out. Turns out I read it in The Beijinger, which is the Beijing version of Metropolis, and I wasn't even right on my facts at that - the article wasn't about them using GM rice, it was about them considering using GM rice.

You'd have about as big a market for the Emmert vise.
It sounds like a fun passtime though.

See them quite a lot actually. It's probably more common to have a custom motorcycle than to have the time and space to do woodwork. Maybe not in Oita but in Tokyo certainly.

There are plenty of Harley shops near me too...(as well as other bikes).
Lots of clubs (many old guys)...they all get together and go touring every weekend up in the mountains... Nikko, Tsukuba, Okutama etc...
I used to do some work for a guy who'd buy all the old vintage Japanese bikes in the states. He'd fill a container with about 22 of them every 3 months and bring them back. He bought so many that they became rare in the states as well and he had to stop.

I see plenty of Harleys all the time around here, but almost never choppers.
In fact, I see sidecars more often than I see choppers.

Chopper is a relative term -- if you're just talking about selling handlebars and tail lights and stuff, they will work on less than a full custom. Easier to say chopper parts than 'custom motorcycle parts' though, I'm just being lazy.
