60's American and British music

I think I posted something like this before.
Anyway, I still think those were better than today's pop music.
Is this just because I'm old?
Those music had beautiful melody.
Since the hard rock music appeared, the rythme dominated the music.
But I believe good melody is harder to make than good rythme.
And it's more impressive.

Most people seem most attached to music during their youth. Though 60s pop music created a large backbone for pop music in subsequent decades.

That's what I'm wondering.
It's just because I'm attached to music during my youth?

Basically, yes.

If you take better as meaning more diverse and enriched then music is better now. Music is more organic and biotic now than ever.

Classic rock is just a more vernal version of what we have today. Some people like that due to reasons such as age, personality, or outward view on life.

Rock on Garth!

Stay thirsty my friends... ..

In 70's and 80's I was still young.
I think 60's music was much better than those in 70's and 80's.
